Get Rid of the Cellulites

Many women struggle just to get rid of the cellulites especially in their thighs and belly. Experts suggest that before you could get rid of it, you have to know the underlying cause why those cellulites are showing up.

In contrary to what is believed, cellulites are not an excess fat problem It’s more on the connective tissue that holds the fats in place. Cellulites are formed when fat cells make their way into the skin’s mid layer or the epidermis pulling the weakened connective tissue which would then create dimpling on the skin. Due to decreased circulation, the connective tissue that holds the fat in place is weakened. Because of this the ability of the connective tissue to keep the fats in place is decreased.

In some ways, being fat has contributed to the weakening of the connective tissue in the sense that it alters the circulation to the skin. In areas where fat stores are high, circulation of blood is less. Surprisingly, studies have shown that cellulite reduction is less responsive to weight loss and diet programs. Women usually have more cellulite than men because estrogen contributes to its formation.

To offset the cellulite problem, here are some suggested ways on how to prevent its formation:

  • Have a detoxifying diet. You should eat fruits and vegetables since they contain few toxins that could harm connective tissue of the skin. They also promote good hydration.
  • Avoid processed foods, soda, red meat, food with high saturated fats contents like butter and foods with artificial colouring.
  • Stop smoking and avoid binge drinking of alcoholic drinks.
  • Increase water intake to about 8-10 glasses of water a day.
  • For those who can afford it, spa treatment is also one way to get rid of cellulites. You may also buy cellulite treatment creams like nivea anti-cellulite cream.
  • Exercise and healthy diet is always part of the regimen. Avoid straining yourself.
  • When taking a bath, brush your skin gently to stimulate circulation and remove dead skin.

Always remember, the earlier you treat your cellulite problem the better. In worst case scenario, cellulite will cause pain and discomfort so you have to get rid of it as soon as possible. One more advice is to use multiple strategies to get rid of it. Don’t concentrate on one treatment alone. Consult the experts for best results.
